Love the first three notes. Feels like it's headed toward resolution but the third note just doesn't feel done. What's your favorite sonata?
Too many to decide! But I'd say it's a close call between Mozart's K 533 and Schubert's D 960, if you're talking about piano sonatas, of course.

Story from today: I went to an astronomy talk series for the general public, and accidentally got dragged into playing astronomy trivia (I didn't know that was part of the talk lol) and wound up in a tie for 2nd place (granted, there were only 8 questions anyways). They let me take home some funky space-themed laptop stickers, but the real highlight was I got to meet an astronomer doing research on black holes and we talked about physics for a bit.

How's everybody doing? What are your stories like?

Ahh, back in the good old days that that was all we had to write. Honestly if you're thinking like that (as I have many times) you're being a perfectionist (which is usually a good thing) but for writing assignments, you don't need perfection. Teachers don't mind junk that functions as life stories, at least at my previous schools.

Mmh I wouldn't turn in "junk." They can tell when you write stuff just to turn it in. You don't need perfection(in anything, not just English) but it's one thing to be a perfectionist and a very different thing to put no effort into your work. There's two extremes--find something in the middle.
Honestly, you can write from anything. I made a 3-page essay(MLA formatted, 12pt TNR) about rolling dumplings and writing my name.

yep, I totally agree. but that's definitely what worked for me when I thought like that, as a perfectionist, "junk" is really something that gets you a good enough grade

Well, it must not be junk, yeah?
I used to be a perfectionist. Now I just turn things in. AP classes have taught me the art of becoming lazy and not making every assignment perfection. You learn fast that 80s are better than 0s.
