I've got some ideas in the works to drum up activity on the forums, but these things take time. That's part of why I asked you all what makes you stick around: I want to kickstart some things for the next season (and beyond!) to keep the forums moving.

I do really appreciate you all staying so dedicated, though. It's only because of people like you that things like this even have a chance at all.

Got it! I'll be waiting around when you do put the ideas in the works Thank you for everything you do even when this site's pretty much dead--you and the other mods have kept it running and I'm so grateful for it. Scioly.org has become the place I go to whenever I need an answer to any SO question and I'm sure it's helped out hundreds of other people as well.

Adding to what pumptato said, scioly.org is also the place I go when I have nothing to do. Not social media.

It’s been ages it seems since I last logged on (I mean, I guess it has), but it really hit me that Science Olympiad is a thing of my past now, as in two weeks I start attending college. It’s wild to think about how in 2017, I was just this kid who knew just enough about Rocks and Minerals to nab 2nd place and thought I was the funniest person in the world for making a wiki page for myself on here. It’s bittersweet. I’m thankful for all the memories surrounding S.O. and I’m sad to see it go.

Assuming you have the time for it (no pressure), this doesn't necessarily have to be the end for your Science Olympiad stuff! I'm sure there's plenty of invitationals and/or the Scioly Event Challenges that'd love to have you help! I'm currently working on repetitively archiving a Discord thread for the sassy game because sassy stuff is apparently all that I can do right now but I might join a div D organization when I hit college! get back into the actual events! help figure out a replacement for Game On or something idk
