I haven't, back when I frequented this site links to YouTube usually pointed to one song and every signature-contained YouTube link went to that song.randomdogonapc wrote: ↑April 4th, 2023, 9:48 am Kind of random, but I need a number. How many people have actually clicked the link in my signature?

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
It’s the same for most sites that have signatures. At this point I’ve memorized the first few digits of the most popular YouTube rickroll linksThings2do wrote: ↑April 4th, 2023, 6:08 pmI haven't, back when I frequented this site links to YouTube usually pointed to one song and every signature-contained YouTube link went to that song.randomdogonapc wrote: ↑April 4th, 2023, 9:48 am Kind of random, but I need a number. I have! I mean, who doesn't view other people's signatures? I'd be more careful about a rickroll link, though, because it seems as if people memorize those links these days just like other people might memorize pi. Maybe put it in a tinyurl?randomdogonapc wrote: ↑April 4th, 2023, 9:48 am Kind of random, but I need a number. How many people have actually clicked the link in my signature?

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
The only problem with tinyurls is that you have to put in a word, which generally looks less mysterious to a blind viewer. I’ve found that more people will click on a long url rather than a shortened one because there’s a lot of possibilities. For instance, the link in my signature could be any YouTube video, but if I shortened it into another word, it would look less trustworthy because it appears as though I’m tampering with the link to make you want to click it more.I have! You could always make the text appear like one link, but have it actually link to a different address! like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiUrandomdogonapc wrote: ↑April 5th, 2023, 4:11 amThe only problem with tinyurls is that you have to put in a word, which generally looks less mysterious to a blind viewer. That's a new personal record for the timeframe of one of those "forgot about a major school project" dream. This time it was mentioned once freshman year and was due in a couple weeks senior year.
