The particular motor used as a generator can greatly affect the voltage produced. The input impedance of today's digital meters can range from around 10 to 300 megaohms, depending on the particular model used. Meters with different input impedance may also cause the measured voltage to differ under some conditions.I really think that these high values are being caused by the mount
The bottom line is that you can only reliably compare measurements made with the same generator (motor) and meter combination.
