Cedavis gave you what we call an assist. The way the rules were designed did not make it possible for her to win. Maybe we could make an 'Assist' column (also pun-ily named because Assist is another of many Pokemon moves I've posted in this topic) in the page and just fill it in where appropriate? I dunno.

“Pika!” added Cedavis6.

“So! I must say, I am impressed you got here. Team Rocket captures Pokémon from around the world. They're important tools for keeping our criminal enterprise going. I am the leader, EpicFailOlympian! For your insolence, you will feel a world of pain!”

I no longer have any need for them. I am finished with them. If your heart aches to save them, go right ahead, I couldn't care less. It will save me the trouble of disposing of them.

You are indeed strong. And the basis of your power is your compassion toward Pokémon. How wasteful... Such emotions are but mere illusions. And, like all illusions, they fade over time until death banishes them forever. That is why I have abandoned all emotions as useless sentimentality. But that doesn't matter. But I must say... You are a remarkable specimen. Those Pokémon have nothing to do with you, do they not? But still you came to rescue them out of pity? Such pitifully useless emotions... It's illogical and irrational. Pity and compassion are products of the weak and lacking human heart. You were compelled to come here by vacuous sentimentality! I will make you regret paying heed to your heart! Though, I’m getting too old for this. Take my warning: someday, my successors will be back. They are handpicked for their cleverness and brutality. Heheh. I won't even go into how bloody long it took me to get them on the right track...half an hour, giving Ced clues so obvious that my sister could have seen it.
And we're finally done. Nice job, EFO. I sorta could tell you we're getting sick of it; that is why I took it upon myself to end the game by basically telling Ced who you were.
