I slammed on the brakes as I pulled the wheel hard to the left, and the car skidded to a stop in the middle of the road, blocking traffic in both directions. My target -- having already had one attempt made on his life -- realized what was about to happen, threw open his car door, and took off into a maze of stopped cars and cursing commuters. I sprinted after him, but lost him as he ducked into the back door of an apartment building and dead-bolted it shut after him. I could have shot out the lock, but it would have attracted unwanted attention from the appartments' occupants. At least the car blocking the street wasn't actually mine.

twototwenty has correctly protected harryk. (Since you already have 5 accusations, pick one of the remaining officers to give your extra accusation to.)

---

As The Architect realized (good thing the rest of you had him to bail you out), the clue was indeed a reference to the 1971 Western Dirty Harry, starring Clint Eastwood. That clue was meant to be relatively easy... I definitely did not expect none of you to have heard that quote, since it's among the most famous movie lines ever.

The entire quote, for reference: "I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

Your next clue:

Alone. The third. Not very sure...

In addition, I encourage the officers to use some accusations... at least one or two, since otherwise this game will probably drag on for a very long time.

Yep, I transfer one accusation to fozendog (don't worry harryk, I just saw his name first in the sassy's sig, that's all ;) ). Also, if one of my fellow officers wants to use an accusation as the sassy suggests, it would be fine; I don't think I will right now because I've already used two, but both of you have all five left...

*gets to work on clue*

A hint, perhaps, sassy? I personally have gotten nowhere with this clue.

On another note, has anyone figured anything out in regards to the ID clues?

Well, Slippery When Wet is the Third album by Bon Jovi.

Not so sure about Alone and Not Very Sure, but there is something on there about unspecified(not very sure?) figures based on certification alone under Certifications.

Hope this might help.
