Blue and gray, school colors? I assume this would have to be someone who's graduated. There are a lot of scioly.org members who've medaled in their first year at Nationals, but the last time" narrows it down.Assassinator wrote:A landmark achievement of any SciOlyian's career is to medal at nationals. It seems like it would be even more surprising at one's first and last time at nationals. But it can be done and has been done, though.

Yes I'm still alive, I'm assuming, since Sassy hasn't yelled at me yet. But I know that pikachu4919 medaled at her first/last time at Nats for Forensics. It's worth a protect...Assassinator wrote:I hope I'm not cheating you of a couple minutes off of 48 hours, but it won't matter anyways since you have correctly protected dragonfruit35. Alex-RCHS, that's another accusation for you. Not bad.

Anyone who we know who has done It's About Time?
Edit: What school does Pika go to? Also, if it doesn't fit Pika, I'm just protecting myself.

Blue and gray are the colors of Fairfax Highschool in VA, where markuswso17 graduated from this year after medalling in Electric Vehicle in his first appearance at Nats.
Edit: The fact that "can" was a different color and EV this year involved curving between cans, makes me almost positive markuswso17 is the victim.

I'm bummed that we can't figure out the ID clues. We can't keep reacting to what Sassy does, which is what we're doing. We're protecting, but this can't go on forever. In other words, we're losing.
We need start looking more intently at the clues for any hint of an ID clue.
Edit: I'm kind of curious about how the dragonfruit hint came to fruition (pardon the pun). Think about it from Sassy's perspective: s/he would need to first search up what genera dragonfruits belong in (I'm guessing Hylocereus isn't really common knowledge). And "our lychees" seems like the only anagram of Hylocereus. What I'm saying is that the whole affair is highly suspicious and also highly specific. And the fact that someone got it right away makes me more than a little suspicious. I expected conversations about tropical fruits for ages...

I doubt "our lychees" is the only possible anagram of Hylocereus. However, I'm also a little suspicious of how quickly Alex-RCHS figured that out.whythelongface wrote:I'm bummed that we can't figure out the ID clues. Also "mark" = Markus, duhmaxxxxx wrote:Blue and gray are the colors of Fairfax Highschool in VA, where markuswso17 graduated from this year after medalling in Electric Vehicle in his first appearance at Nats.
