the point is to touch type, so it doesn't really matter which physical keyboard you use

yeah. My typing speed in QWERTY wasn't very fast to begin with (about 65 wpm) partly because I wasn't properly touch typing, so now I'm actually learning. I don't think people actually forget qwerty, kinda like riding a bike
