I always wear long pants, even during the summer in North Carolina, so if it's business casual, I come in my usual attire: nice T-shirt or collared shirt, jacket, and dress trousers. (I don't wear jeans. The last time I wore jeans was in January 2018.) If it's extra formal, I'll also throw in a necktie, and perhaps replace the jacket with a suit. I prefer more vibrant color schemes, so I've dressed with red shirt and yellow tie, bright orange shirt and yellow tie, white shirt and blue tie.
One thing I can't stand is any sort of shoe with a high heel. With men's shoes with heels, it can be hard to walk, and I've slipped a couple of times, especially in new shoes that don't have much friction. I don't know what it's like for women's high-heel shoes, but I would think it'd be even harder to walk in those as the tilt is much more pronounced. I really like dress boots because, being they're actually made to be walkable, although I don't really have tried those haha
