I believe this is the first time that I know of where a team that placed three places behind the final qualification spot ended up competing at states. Not sure of all the behind the scenes stuff but they are indeed competing.

So for some reason I have a memory of awards being livestreamed a few years ago. Did this actually happen? I'm not sure because they definitely don't do it anymore, but that may just be because of new leadership.

I was thinking more like 2012 or 2013, but I know the video you're talking about from 2014.

To my knowledge the only year their was a live stream was 2012.

Are these East's or East's Computer's?

These are East's Computer's; East does not have the energy to fiddle around with the rankings past the top 15 or so.
