Yeah i usually write for the full 25 minutes and put those little reminders throughout my directions just to keep my partner on track

they have been going ok. we r pretty good at syrofoam balls and toothpicks, like 1 or 2 wrong on connects, and legos we need more practice. i think we will do ok

Make sure you practice legos- that's what it was last year at States.

yeah i know...but i dont know how to make my directions any clearer. One time i said 2x4 to 2x4, 3rd slot from left and my partner didn't know that that meant to connect the two pieces!!! I mean come on...in write it do it you have to make something by connecting pieces...hence the name do it!. Ughhh, that got me sooooo annoyed!!!

tee hee....i used to write an overall description of the object, but i tend to have a bit more....um....imaginative mind than my partner, so that stopped waaay earlier in the year.

Well, the Doer for our team was trained with a different Writer, and they worked really well together and got 100% on most practice events... but the Writer is my partner for Envi Chem, which is at the same time as WIDI at our States, and so sk8lynne became the Writer instead.

ouch I hate replacements cause like all that practice for nothing. even if you know them its not the same
