You have a very short memory Holmes. Last time you protected on someone else's reasoning Lestrade did not believe you and the target died. Well today again the protected dies as well as many more. Scotland Yard did guard Luo, but they did not take the precaution of moving him to a more secure location.

Let the bells ring for the dead on this day. For they are many. The bells should chime once for each soul that was lost in the devastating explosion in the house better known to its residents as Minnesota Manor. And they were all at home when the gunpowder went up. Luo, Kokonilly, haverstall, Paradox21, jazzy009 and many more.

This event has brought madness to the country. Nobody is safe.

My dear Mr. Holmes,

The game is up. You have failed. By the time you read this letter I will be far away from the chaos that has now engulfed London. It must have been devastating for the country to receive the news that must have reached the papers by now. For it is not often that a government dies.

I began at the bottom and slowly worked my way to the top. The first to go were the two wikimods. Zyzvyva and East. They were having one of their regular meetings to discuss improving the efficiency of their business. The poison in their drinks did the trick, and they were dead before they spoke.

After them things became a bit trickier. Security was heightened. Lestrade and the rest of London's finest immediately surrounded all of the top officials in the government. Not that they could protect them when they did not know who was the next target.

Aia was next. There are many hazards of working in an art gallery, of which falling statues are but one.

After Aia's death the true bloodbath began. Jander14indoor failed to wake up one morning after a dose of a sleeping drug the night before. Zekebud was found in an alley one morning clubbed to death. This has since been blamed on the mobs that have been running uncontrolled through London. Fleet130 sought to escape the chaos of the city by boat, but never left the harbor. Eak227 was in a library that burned down with him trapped inside.

After I worked my way through some of the midlevel officials I decided it was time to go for the head honchos. Andrewwski made a wrong turn one night and walked into my knife. SiegeLord learned the dangers of modern siege weapons when a cannonball flew through his bedroom window. Starpug and robotman were discussing ways to organize the chaos when the room they were in filled with gas.

Finally I had reached the top. The only one left was DarkSabre, and by this point he was surrounded by guards. Not that human shields do much against a single bullet. And with DarkSabre dead I had achieved my goal. The United Kingdom now lives in a state of fear. And there is noone left to control the chaos.

You were not as I had hoped Holmes. Maybe next time you will be better prepared.

P.S. Attached are the solutions to the clues, as there were very few that you successfully solved.

P.P.S I do not recall saying that I was ever going to give you an ID clue. I have been giving you one throughout the game, but as of yet nobody has solved it. Your failure to find and solve it is not my problem.

1. The clue describes the opening of the song I Am the Walrus, which is sweetcoop's location. The other important part of the clue is the fact that Lestrade is described as Mr. City Policeman, a term used in the song.

2. This clue uses the data values for each of the blocks. If you add these values up they equal 131. Coincidentally, if you convert the letter's in frogzorz's name to numbers, they also add up to 131.

3. The haiku describes an impressive structure, the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall was built during the Ming Dynasty, which was completely destroyed when a general opened a gate to allow the Manchu to invade.

4. The quote is from Harry Potter. Harryk has a similar username to the title of the book. However, because the protecting officer protected saying because of what AlphaTauri did, he still died because Alpha's reasoning had not been explained and because the officer quoted somebody else's reasoning.

5. The comic identifies the victim as whoever nerd snipes themselves by posting the most concerning the clue. The officer who protects the latest will have the best chance if they think.

6. Jim R was the first on this board but not the founder. Quadratic has the same avatar as JimR.

7. Bearasaurus is a tournament coordinator as well as a national coordinator, and as such he has some pull in arranging the times that events take place.

8. 600nm is the wavelength of yellow light. geekychic13's signature includes a portion of the song Yellow.

9. The italicized words form an anagram that says: foreverphysics shall die.

10. Cloudy water is a translation of the word Minnesota from the Native American language it is from into English. Everybody from Minnesota was a target.
