Technically I could compete at B level again but my mom was saying things about 'you already have color guard and BSA' and I'm don't know yet if the middle school's having it this year? Even if I were to just be helping them?? I don't know anymore

If you want to do it, you can always give it a chance! If you can't fit it into your schedule, then you can decide to drop it.

What's color guard like during a pandemic? Do people need to practice together on the same site?

I definently want to do it, just worried about my parents saying no >.<

We actually had our first color guard in-person practice yesterday! Just learning moves since we don't have a program yet, and the pit and drum line were practicing too on others sides of the parking lot
Of course it probably helps that the color guard is literally just three people and the instructor I guess

Whew, it's fantastic to know that color guard is at least rather safe!

I get you with the parents thing; I used to get antsy just thinking about all the things my parents could say to me. It takes confidence to ask your parents to do something that they may dislike, perhaps even dislike vehemently. But if you are certain that doing SciOly will make you happy, you should go for it! Try building your confidence, which could involve mentally reviewing what you'll say and how you'll say it, writing down why SciOly matters to you, listening to inspirational music, or whatever you normally do to make yourself feel in control. It's perfectly normal to feel that way; the more you get used to talking to your parents about ideas that they might oppose, the more courage you get to keep on doing it.
