Shadyside C did much better than 78 points. In Game On, for some reason they were accidentally disqualified - they actually medalled (which is why Norwin got 1 less point in the first place). Shadyside C got approx 55 - 57 points.
We were marked as a no show (28th). This simply isn't true and we contacted the regional director but received no follow up. Are you just assuming that we medaled or is there a new score sheet?

by what a beauty
Everyone excited for states! We want to know what the trial event is, does anyone know what it is? Does anyone have predictions too?

Teams have been posted online! Notable clarifications:
- In B, 8 teams have been listed for Central, and only 6 teams have been listed for SW. Thus, Good Hope has qualified, but Ringgold has not. All other teams are as expected.
- In C, 6 teams have been listed for CE, and only 6 teams have been listed for SW. Thus, Wyomissing has qualified, but Montour has not. All other teams are as expected.
Based on these clarifications, I think we can safely assume that team qualification spots are currently based on initial teams registered, not teams that show up on competition day.
Now knowing the official lists, I should have the prediction contest up and running soon!

It's back! PA predictions are here at last now that the team lists have been finalized.
Rules can be found within each form, and are reproduced below. Enjoy!
B Division
C Division
Rules wrote:
- Each correct guess will be worth 5 points. Guesses that are off by 1 place are worth 4 points, guesses that are off by 2 places are worth 3 points, etc. down to 1 point for guesses that are off by 4 places or more. Guesses that did not place in the top 10 will be worth 0 points.
- The overall winner of the contest will be the user with the highest combined score for B and C division. A winner will also be crowned for each division. You have nothing to lose by entering both contests!
- Entries that include one team twice will still be included in the running, but the second inclusion of the duplicated team will be replaced by the highest placed team in that team's region that wasn't picked.
- Entries that include one team thrice or more will be deleted. Also, entries that deviate wildly from the norm will be deemed as troll entries and deleted. There will be some leniency to this, but if there are numerous glaring omissions from your entry, chances are I will delete it.
- If two entries are submitted under one username, I will use the second one and delete the first. Feel free to submit a second entry if you weren't pleased with your first!
- The consensus generated by the submitted predictions will be posted as poll results occasionally on the forums. This poll will award 10 points to a team if they were picked first, 9 points to a team if they were picked second, etc. All entries will remain anonymous for these poll results.
- Teams are listed in this poll by their placement within their region. Regions are sorted chronologically. For more information about team scores and placements, please see the wiki: https://scioly.org/wiki/index.php/PA
- If you have a question about your entry or the contest, please send a private message to EastStroudsburg13.

Didn't they change medals to top six last year?

You know what, I believe you may be right about that. That's what was said in last year's thread. I'll update the form to reflect that. (I'll be waiting for my two 6th place medals from 2012 in the mail...)
