Re: Scioly Assassination 82: The Great War
I was going to wait until we got an ID clue to do this, but because I want this game over with, I shall do it now.
I accuse paleonaps because of the following:
1. His last login was the day of the start of the game so he may just not be logging on to throw off suspicion or he is gone right now and has limited access explaining the sassy not posting.
2. He lives on a bay (ID clue)
3. I had about 5 more reasons that tomoto agreed with but I can't think of them right now
4. I want this game ended soon so it will not go on over a month and with Christmas break hopefully enough people will have lots of time to form a new good game.
SOrry if this is wrong.
At least it is better than the previous accusations this game…

Re: Scioly Assassination 82: The Great War
Congratulations Littleboy. PM me your choice for the next Assassinator.
I'll do a wrap up over the holidays as I'm insanely busy right now- I've basically just had time to run the game.

Good job, Little.
Naps, good game. Thanks for bringing me back to life. You've redeemed yourself for the last time you killed me by cutting open my femoral artery. (Joking about the redemption part.) You were a pretty good assassinator, I have to say. Nice, solvable clues--mostly. Better than your five-clue burst game.
Again, nice job, Little.

Re: Scioly Assassination 82: The Great War
Not quite what I intended, because, like has been said, no new officers can join. I was going more for a post count of 100 or up to become an officer.Littleboy wrote:Thanks to east for this great idea.
New rule that I think should be implemented in the next few games: All officers must have either a.) won a game or b.) played at least x (possibly 5?) games and have protected for x% of the clues.

Re: Scioly Assassination 82: The Great War
Well, guys, I guess it's time to wrap up.
I begged haverstall to let me do this round because I wanted to do two things: A) redeem myself as an Assassinator and B) make up for my last game. I had this idea at about the time my last round ended, and have been itching to do it (I have an amazing themed game ready for this summer, just so everyone knows. If anyone wants it, PM me).
I attempted to use German to hide my speech patterns in order to throw suspicion completely. It worked, but as time went on it simply became to laborious to do and I switched to 'no punctuation and deliberate misspelling'. That was actually pretty fun.
Clues:
1. I can't tel you how sweet it is to finally kill Z. I've been trying to get him for over a year, and it was awesome to have a solvable clue that succeeded.
2. You solved this. I was kind of hoping that you wouldn't be LotR fans, but I guess you were.
3. Again, solved. We are all geniuses.
4. I can't think of a huge challenge that America has faced other than 9/11.
5. SUCH PURE LUCK.
6. I'm sorry about this one. I was rushed and although I tried to steer you in the right direction, I guess I failed.
7. All of those cities are sister cities to Hiroshima. I should have picked cities that had less of a tie to World War II. Then the game would still be on.
8. A little vague, but I think solvable.
You figured out the ID clue.
By the way, the answer to the new colonel clue was Thomas Kretschmann, who was not only German (a dead giveaway) but played John Paul II in a 2005 film.
Guys, I'd love a little more feedback in case I get to assassinate again. With that said, I pass the torch to the next one to kill.
