Yeah, although the two biomes are similar in some respects- more than taiga and grassland, at least. Temperature is a good example.
So, like Anatomy last year, studying for one may wind up helping with another inadvertently. I think that's a good thing.

Sorta, but the main defining feature is the dominant vegetation. Taiga is dominated by coniferous trees and Tundra has some grasses and a few other plants that can survive the cold and lack of nutrients.

Yeah, so a lot of animalian adaptations should be similar- such as hibernation, fat storage etc.

Is the tundra's soil still acidic? Because I don't think there are many conifers up there...

not sure, but probably less acidic than that of the taiga, because conifers do exist there.
