Re: Scioly Assassination 112: The Ides of March
So, I guess people will have noticed my absence from the barracks at the same time as the murders. Now that I look back, I'm pretty sure my fellow Guard members were keeping tabs on me and were planning to accost me when I went out to "meet" (kill) my next victim. Unluckily for me, JasperKota decided to apprehend me... WHILE I WAS SLEEPING!!!! So, I am leaving this note in Circus Maximus as I flee for my life (in my pajamas). If anyone asks for me, tell them that Fibonacci924 has a family emergency. I'm sure that we can leave this kerfuffle behind us.
I might have left behind the resources to kill Caesar, so I guess I win in some way?

Wow. Fib played it very well, complaining about the sassy's clues so much
It was a good game coming back from the dead period.
I really gotta give credit where credit's due, so if you guys don't mind I'll wait a couple days until fib posts the clues and see if I can get a hold of azurite and ask her who she'd like to be the next assassinator (I don't have anyone in mind).

Re: Scioly Assassination 112: The Ides of March
So, here are the solutions to the clues:
Clue #1: daydreamer0023
Solved
ID: I have also done Wind Power
Clue #2: NeilMehta
The Aristophanes play I was referencing was The Clouds, thus leading to Meteorology.
ID: You can figure that out on your own
Clue #3: Kokonilly
I found a post of hers from a long time back that referenced Shakespeare. Sorry, not sorry.
ID: I specifically referenced my favorite play Antony and Cleopatra. I might of talked about on IRC.
Clue #4: JasperKota
Protected, but not solved.
So, auguries consult birds, who fly. Planes also fly as well... ergo, Wright Stuff.
Phoenicians traveled in the Ocean so that referenced Dynamic Planet
ID: Russell Crowe played Maximus in Gladiator, who happened to be a Spaniard. I have been known to chat in Spanish.
ID Clue #1:
"I am not who you think I am: " I was trying to tell you that you're suspicions were quite off the mark.
Clue #5: Raleway
The Dicenallia is actually a column in Rome, so that somehow relates to Towers? And the International Trade referred to the stock market. Raleway has created a stock market competition on this site.
ID: "extreme place" is a lyric from the song "Extreme Ways" by Moby, my favorite song. I have posted about it at length.
ID Clue #2:
solved
Clue #6: John Richardsim
solved
ID: The Iranian "hostage crisis" is the focus of the movie Argo. I have posted about it on the Best Movie thread.
ID Clue #3:
I have posted about Chicken Tikka Masala being from Glasgow. NeBH found that particular post, but didn't suspect me.
Clue #7: Person
solved
ID: A clue requested by Person targeting Person, HOW IS THAT NOT SUSPICIOUS? There was also Spanish in there.
Clue #8: Panda Weasley
Solved
ID: Panda and I have a lot in common. We are both Ravenclaws and we religiously follow the vlogbrothers, John and Hank Green.
ID Clue #4:
"The coldest blood runs through my veins, you know my name" is from the song "You Know My Name" featured in Daniel Craig's first adventure as James Bond, Casino Royale. I just thought it would be fitting.
In any case, there you have it! Feel free to rage at me if you wish, for I know some of the clues were absurdly vague.
It was so hard for me to be an officer for this round, because if I let my knowledge of Ancient Rome slip, it would be game over for me. Thank you all for letting me share my favorite time period, Classical Antiquity, with you. Hopefully you enjoyed this foray in to the last days of Julius Caesar as much as I did! Jasper, please PM me with your pick for the next Sassy and we shall continue this summer with more Assassination games.

Found this too pulling the same Scioly.org search on "Glasgow". I don't understand the significance, though.Fibonacci924 wrote: ID Clue #3:
