The Glass is neither half full nor half empty-it is simply twice as large as it needs to be.

I have, and I'm going to this year too (I'm from NY) Well it's not TOO much different from star maps, it's just you have a limited amount of time on each constellation/DSO/star, and it is clear as to what constellation/DSO/star is being asked.

I have. Planetariums are like sky maps except their a lot easier because their just limited to the Northern or Southern hemisphere.... Another good thing about planetariums is that unlike the sky chart, there is no "badly drawn planetarium," and once you get adjusted to the dark its really clear.
On the neg. side, you need to get adjusted to the dark quickly, and its kind of like a timed stations test where you can't go back if you've missed something.

In ours we have an inflatable planetarium, and it works really well. To PA people, they probably will have it this year as well, although I may be wrong.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they'll have it. I've had the same inflatable planetarium and the same people running the event for all three of the competitions where I competed in Reach for the Stars.

For people that had states last year,

When they asked the questions unrelated to RFS what kinds of questions were there?

For those people did the same thing reoccur at states this year? ( If you had already gone to states)
