wow..i thought this whole event was about NPK and how to grow the best plants in a given situation...for the test do they ask a lot about the periodic table of elements?

At my invite (we haven't been to regionals yet) it was 100% handwritten test.

My Regional was 100% test, no experiments.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of Regionals and Invitationals were all test, probably because that requires a lot less setup. I think the lab portion is more likely to show up at States/Nationals.

at our state test, we had 18 stations and mostly calculation.
it was impossible...

the only calculations I can think of would be elemental percentage and pounds of a nutrient in a bag
