Actually, there is one kid participating in Pentathlon on our team... who shouldn't be on the team. He's lazy and doesnt work. SO we just threw him in this event. I'm just saying that if you have to have a dumb event to justify exercise, the questions/labs or whatever you do should at least be difficult. C'mon, anybody is SciO should know how to focus a microscope, identify the three kinds of rocks, tell if somethings an acid or a base. And any HUMAN should be able to dribble a soccer ball in between cones without looking like a total idiot. I did Pentathlon - you know how long my academic station took?- 10 seconds, give or take 5 seconds. Want to know when I was ut on the event? That day. It took absolutely no skill- my physical portion was dribbling a basketball 10 times. And I don't like it because it's physical or "hard", which is a joke. I dislike the event because there is no skill or studying needed to be DECENT at it. You just have to not be a spazz and have a general knowledge of maybe 5th to 8th grade science. Easy stuff. Once again, sorry if I offended anyone, but the previous accusation and argument I was faced with was.... annoying, to say the least. Heheh.

OK guys, a lot of what you're saying is not justified. And please leave the debating to Pentathlon no matter how fun it may be. Some of the questions they can come up with in Pentathlon can be very difficult, depending on the supervisor. You can't put in someone who knows nothing (or close to it) about science but is athletic in Pentathlon because they won't be able to answer the questions. It's not fair to call it easy, stupid, or dumb just because of the physical part. If they got rid of the physical activities entirely it would be a very good event for testing general science. But they do have it, and that makes it a poor SO event.

ok ur right, i shudn't call this a joke, but i mean its nothing to get into side fights about. And, i never did anything to gguy5. the first time i ever commented was on the other pentathlon thread. All i said was that it was ridiculous that they were getting into arguments about one person calling the event stupid. So then Gguy5 decides he has the right to tell me to get off the thread that "i wasn't apart of". Yet anyone can comment. and i never directed any insult at him but he decided to call me "hormonal" and crap. so i thought that was pretty annoying. I never did anything wrong towards him so i dont know why he is always on my back. and im sry for calling sadistic_cottoncandy "mr. sarcastic" i was just jk, but idk what ur problem is Gguy5- ur starting to actually BE annoying. And, when i say this event is not a good one im not joking. i mean, its not like im trying to be mean to anyone or hurt anyones feelings but when ppl answer so strong and twist ppls words around to make them sound mean that bothers me, so i guess i just answer back that way. um, hello? im pretty sure i exist, at least the last time i checked i did. my team is the definition of sporty nerd. if you want to see the proof, go to nationals
