Also did anybody else think the dynamic planet test was really easy?
I heard from my team that half way through the moderator had to hold up paper for them, and that they were not told how many they got right.
That Dynamic planet test was so easy, the only question I had no clue about was tsunami velocity, and I think we may have had slight issues with the nomogram, i.e. me and my partner doing it independently and getting 2 different results.

I thought the Dynamic Test was really easy too... It was too easy to be that good of a test in my perspective.. I think for the tsunami velocity the answer was 800 km/hr. For the nomogram I got 7.0 for all three.

I'm pretty sure the dynamic planet test was almost identical, if not completly identical, to the one from last yr

My partner, who did the event last year, said that there were many questions that were either identical or similar

Conor would know, he did the whole test himself last year without letting me look at it =/. I suppose that's revenge for doing Rocks and Minerals without letting him help the year or two before.
Did he actually let you do any part of it?

Yeah there were 6 "Stations" (it was all one test) I did the last one (epicenter drawing, and p-waves/s-wave times) and part of another station (nomogram and more p-waves/s-waves times). Then we checked each others work.

Are you sure? We got 7.2. Would that be in the range of accepted values?

Idk... I double checked it, and so did my partner... I would imagine, if the actual value was 7.0, .2 off would be accepted

There were 20 stations, with 8 questions at each and 2 minutes per station. The questions were pretty easy, the hardest part was the time..About 40% was id. It was pretty good.
