They make devices to digitize books without damaging 'em, if you're willing to shell out some money... Otherwise, you could try photocopying the pages you need.
Edit: How do you have a whole hardcover textbook in your binder?

The binder's a 2 inch binder, meaning the rings are 2 inches in diameter. The textbook's 1 inch thick.
Since it's hard cover you can easily secure it (where it won't fall out) with 3 large binder clips.

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Joey and I have talked a little about this before. I think that you should be fine. The only reason I can think they wouldn't like it is if there's a relatively new event supervisor or someone that hasn't read the rules before. I've seen teams use strictly a textbook that they slap in a binder (it usually doesn't go great however). My partner and I stick to less notes (like 20 pages), and it's usually worked out for us. I hate that dynamic has went to a binder, because teams can just make notes rather than actually know the content (like me in Astro xD). Either way you do it, textbooks are legal.
EDIT: Joey, were you at MIT?

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Nope. We were at Brown, though.
I just really hope that some random proctor at state/regional doesn't shut us down because they haven't read the rules. (in other words, though textbooks are perfectly legal in the format we're putting them in, I want to try and idiotproof our notes as much as possible - 8th grade thermo at state still gives me PTSD)
However, I think it's going to take too much time and effort and money to scan and print the entire book right now - and if I am just not meant to be able to use my notes in the future, I'm sure that nothing I do will change that fact.
Thanks guys for your suggestions!

Maybe Google Books? It may leave some pages out, but you can screenshot the pages you need and print them out

Taking my spanish test, and there were like 3 kids taking pictures from outside through the window. The teacher noticed, i turned around cause they were making a racket, and they got a full picture of my face. I think they thought I snitched cause when I went to the restroom about 10 minutes later, there was a blown up picture of my face with the words, SNITCH WANTED. It's almost admirable how fast they worked.
