I've been doing my trimonthly viewing of my g-mail account. I've deleted 342 messages so far, and there's at least 1600 more. It's been over a year since I deleted anything from it...

Edit: I've now deleted 779 messages...

Every once in a while I get a heart attack when I see 90 unread emails. It wouldn't bother me, but after switching to a new district account I planned to delete emails instead of just leaving them...

People keep on looking at the textbook I have in my Oceanography binder and warning me some people won't let it fly.
It makes me a bit worried, because, indeed, if I get a proctor that doesn't know what they're doing or doesn't like textbooks in binders, I could easily lose one of my main resources.

So, despite it being legal to have a textbook in a binder, do any of you guys know a way to easily convert a 600 page, hardcover book into a pdf without removing bindings?

Could use a scanner... Although I don't see any time-efficient way beyond tearing off the spine and removing covers...
