Re: Favorite Book
I love Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, City of the Beasts, anything by Scott Westerfeld, did I mention Lord of the Rings?
Science Olympiad is a tribute to Murphey's Law. This has been proven experimentally.
And no, I'm not a guy...even though my sig says will robsinson. It's a reference to Lost in Space, an ancient sci fi TV show. And the robot is the character who always says the line.

Re: Favorite Book
Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya is a good book after you get through the first chapter and this book was assigned by a teacher for me to read for Ac Dec along with the rest of the team and it has the following quote
"He beat you, f*****, He beat you.
"He beat you, f*****, He beat you.

Re: Favorite Book
I read both. Dune was ok. Killer Angels was really good. Parts of it were rather sad, though.binary010101 wrote:Has anyone read Dune or The Killer Angels?

Re: Favorite Book
Does manga count as a book?
But seriously, my favorite books:
Little Women series by Louisa May Alcott (=D)
Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery (LOVED the series until Anne and Gilbert started to get older and older. =S)
Emily Of... series by L.M. Montgomery (Love the author + main char has my name =P)
Goose Girl series by Shannon Hale (Fairy tale retelling
)
Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer (<---- I'm joking.... Meyer's books can't qualify as books... they're more erotica o.o)
Bewitching Season by Marissa Doyle (Best fantasy-historical-romance yet)
Artemis Fowl series Eoin Colfer (AWESOME SERIES!)
Harry Potter (How can I not?)
Sophie Kinsella's books (there are several; she's a funny chick =P)
