I'm not happy with the CR and writing scores - I switched around 2 answers in CR by accident when bubbling, and I got worse on writing than I did last year. -_- The math is good, but my perfect score was lost to an easy number/operations multiple choice one.
Even though it was dumb-mistake-filled, I think it's enough for National Merit. The cutoff in MN is usually around 214, so unless everyone else did better than I (hopefully not) I should be good to go for semifinalist.

Why do you keep doing this...

Oh, I sincerely hope so. Cutoff is typically around 214, so I think I should be fine. It's the same score I got a sophomore, which really bugs me. [-7 for reading; +6 for math; +1 for writing - the reading is really bothersome]

Reading 71 (I always misinterpret the easy questions)
Math 71 (stuuuuupiiiid mistakes...so embarrassing)
Writing 78 (grammar )
Total 220
Didn't study, and I'm a sophmore... gotta wait till next year for qualifying
No, that's really bothersome. You should be for sure semifinalist unless you have the misfortune of living on the central East Coast.
We got our PSAT scores back a couple days ago. I got a composite of 227 without studying.
I got an 80 in CR, a 79 in writing and only a 68 in math. The annoying thing with the math is that the only ones I got wrong were the dumbest things ever. Example 1, not reading the question to see it wants an integer for an answer. Example 2, forgetting that "0" is a digit. I guess I'd rather make dumb mistakes than not know how to do it though. I'm still quite happy.

Dude, you beat me by 18 points and Allie by 17, you beat ALLIE, who stayed home from the Quebec trip to study.
I'm speechless

Thanks, man, I'm pretty psyched.

I got my SAT scores, and I'm not sure what to make of them. I'm happy that they're high, but I'd like to improve math, since that's supposed to be my best.

And I don't think I ever provided my PSAT scores. Those made me quite happy, although one question that I misinterpreted on math cost me an 80.

And as for the math, it's nothing special for how much time i put into math olympiad, if i didn't get a perfect, the 2 hours a day i put into olympiad level math would be shameful. But honestly, i really need to get up my english related scores, how do you guys do it
