I don't have a MacBook, but I believe you have to click with two or three fingers. That's just what I've heard from a friend who has one, though.

(And I'm not sure why this is in Protein Modeling, but I'm not going to get after you for it...)

Protein Modeling at States used MacBooks with Windows, so I'd like know for future competitions. I guess I'll get a chance to test right clicking out in about a year, then.

I wasn't even paying attention to what type of computers they used, but now that I think about it, I don't remember being able to right-click or do certain commands (I couldn't select the beta sheets for some reason, so I just looked really closely jmol for the on-site).

I saw you in Protein Modeling there, by the way. Our teams sat almost right across from each other.

On my MacBook, which is not running Windows, you can right-click by either using ctrl-click or putting two fingers on the touch pad while you press the mouse button. I don't know if either or both of those would work on a MacBook running Windows, though.

I was discussing that with someone yesterday, and while I don't have any definite ideas, I think the topic will almost certainly change. What do you think it will be?

As if I'm not paranoid enough already.

That's what the internet said, except I think I tried that.

Don't worry - I couldn't even tell who you were.

Three fingers instead of two, then? I've also seen shift + F10 used.

I'm trying to model DNA as a creative addition right now. I have an extra toober (too short, from last year) that I want to use as the 2 sugar-phosphate backbones of the DNA. Would this be okay, or are the toobers only allowed to be used for protein backbones?

I don't think there's anything that says you can't use toobers for other parts of your model; however, make sure that your key makes it clear what's part of the protein and what's part of the DNA.
