The problem with dry heat is that you can't tell whether you're dehydrated.pikachu4919 wrote:Dry heat vs humidity tho....that's the difference between whether it's bearable or whether it absolutely sucksUnome wrote:Everyone here complaining about heat while it was 110-115 in Phoenix...

You don't need to be able to tell if you drink a bit more than plenty, which you should do in the desert anyways... And, without the humidity, you can wear long sleeves, which are cooler than short sleeves, with the exception of in humidity... Then nothing is cool, or even lukewarm...Unome wrote:The problem with dry heat is that you can't tell whether you're dehydrated.pikachu4919 wrote:Dry heat vs humidity tho....that's the difference between whether it's bearable or whether it absolutely sucksUnome wrote:Everyone here complaining about heat while it was 110-115 in Phoenix...

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
Just putting this out here cause she needs all the thoughts, hope, and prayers she can get.
One of my best friends had an AVM and suffered from a brain hemorrhage on Tuesday at the mere age of 16. She got an emergency brain surgery done on Tuesday night, and since that surgery, she hasn't woken up since. Doctors say that it will probably be months of recovery from this and likely she won't be the same as she was before. There's also about a 10% chance that she'll lose motility and another 10% that she doesn't recover at all. She needs all the hope and prayers that the world can spare, so please just keep this person in mind and hope she gets better please. The world wouldn't be the same without her.
Thank you
