I think SE is probably best for B as well, though by a much smaller margin than it is for C.
Events: Herpetology, Fossils, Entomology, Rocks & Minerals, Ornithology, Ecology
Nationals 2008: 1st in Herpetology
Nationals 2009: 1st in Herpetology, 2nd in Fossils

You're kind of contradicting yourself...

Anyway, I don't think SE is best for B, I would say it is 3rd, maybe 2nd best.

Why not? I mean, Bala Cynwyd, Strath Haven, Welsh Valley, and Unami all placed in the top 10, which is the most teams there for any region in PA.

You have a good point there. I just added up the places of the top four teams from NE, and SE regions at states last year. Yes, SE does have a lower number than NE, you're right there. When I think about it though, what does "best region" mean? Does it mean most teams in the top 10, or does it mean the region that has the most teams go to nationals. If it's the latter of the two, I would say SW is the best. If it's the first, I'd say SE is the best. Sorry, now that I think about it, NE is not the best.

I would say most good teams (deepest region). Wyoming Area isn't bad, but they missed the top 10 (11th). Still, I'm not saying our region is better than yours. In either case, SW just has Sewickley and Shady Side, and really no one else. CE sounds pretty good. If I were to list them, then I guess it would be:

1.SE
2.NE
3.CE
4.SW (sorry, just not enough good teams)
5.C
6.NW

Remember, this is just for B.

Yeah, it was a very close call, but I just felt CE had more teams that were at least fairly competitive at states (Fleetwood, Whitehall-Coplay, Kutztown, Exeter, East Hills) than SW (Sewickley, Shady Side, Franklin, Peters Township).

I found out that there is construction on the campus, so they're not running it.

Ah, I see.

Regionals are really coming up. Is anyone ready? I know I'm not. I still have a lot to do, but there won't be enough time. I don't think I'll be fully ready until states.

I think I'm almost ready for my Earth Science events. Experimental Design I haven't started yet, and I'm not even sure if I'm doing Picture This.
