I don't think so. sweetcoop has done that in the past when he wasn't the assassinator. And if he was the assassinator, wouldn't it be more advantageous to stay in the game and ensure that the officer spot was useless?

Sadly the chase did not last long, as I quickly cornered him in a blind alley. The second time I was smart enough to use my gun.
