Very nice job quizbowl. You solved a very difficult clue.

Assassinator, that was way too difficult a clue. This is the mentality quizbowl had to go through:
1.) Ireland -> Eire
2.)Plasma ball corresponds to argon
3.)Argon refers to argon's symbol Ar
3.)The key part of the "bend knot" was the word "bend"
4.) Eire was a different prononciation of Ar
5.)Put together, Eire bend(s) Ar, bend acts as a verb
6.)This pattern is similar to the username: "Gneissisnice"

When solving clues, hundreds of possible ideas of what each part could mean go through our heads, having something this specific to getting this many steps correct is horrible.
And guess what's worse. THERE WAS ONE DAY FOR THIS. This clue was nothing short of ridiculous. Quizbowl solving this was like a grand slam.

I usually am more sympathetic to Assassinators, its more easily said than done to make clues of appropriate difficulty. But if this one is going to be aggressive and obnoxious, I have no sympathy.

I'm thinking CriMi may refer to the show "Criminal Minds," and the 1:15 to the one minute fifteen second mark in an episode. A clue may lie there. Though I may be wrong...

Also, it seems like that episode is a likely bet- judging from the Wikipedia page, it is about a man leaving clues as to who he would kill.
