please tell me the main place you can find the bird, its name and what the red buldge on its chest is and does; this could be a test question

I frankly have no idea what that is....it looks like a kind of vulture, though.

Erm, its a california condor
its found in the deserts of california
its a "crop" where food is stored and partially digested before it enters the stomach

yep, Amerikestrel...agreed...when me and my partner looked at that for the first time, we screamed...literally..and slammed our poor peterson field guide shut...i guess it's kinda gross about the crop detail...kinda disgusting in my opinion....but it's one of the birds that you will never forget once you see it...well, at least for me... :lol: :lol: :lol:

quiz bowl is right! s/he can go. It is also found in the grand canyon, I guess it is pretty ugly :lol: :lol: :D
