There will be both of them for some weird reason. Unfortunately those are only tentative and unfortunately I could see them getting rid of SCB since it's in its 4th year.

It's probably not going to be. This is an update from the last projected events table, as it has taken over the 2009 events table http://soinc.org/2009_event_table. It doesn't mention anything about EC any more
isnt this like the events for 2009, as in the year that just passed?

Yeah it is. Sorry they moved the new new one again. This will be an event according to both. I'm happy it is because I really want to try it.

except it might be envo chem now because cant judge a powder is still there in B

The events actually have almost nothing in commen material wise, just a similar skill set, so it is possible they will both be there, since it has happened before, and they are going to have 2 similar events like Ornithology and Fossils, so it could happen here too.

but..taking away env chem only after a year? seems a little strange
(not that I'm complaining ;))

Yeah, but they have done it with things like Mystery Archatecture, which was only there for one year. If the event doesnt work well, they wont keep it a second year, and env. chem. deffinately didnt
