Does anyone know how to classify Fusulinids and nummulites. The fossil list says kingdom protozoa but protozoa doesn't exist anymore

Just classify it whatever way you want, I guess. Is it a protist or maybe in the Protozoan kingdom? Nobody knows!

BTW, I always thought the plural of half-life was half-lifes. Mind BLOWN!

EDIT: Darn you auto correct!

2nd in state! How are all of your competitions going? :D
2016: CVMC/CV Invite/Mesa Robles/Reg/State
ExpD: 1/1/1/1/9
Foss: 3/1/8/4/1
Green Gen: 2/1/4/1/7
Met: 2/2/3/8/4
the dipstick is an intricate device used to measure the amount of rain in a rain gauge. it can also be used as a derogatory term for your meteorology partners

Good luck! Southern CA state tests are obviously going to be different than where you live, but definitely be prepared for anything (and everything) in the rules sheet. There was a station about rocks in state that my partner and I weren't really prepared for -- we couldn't name an example of a "detrital sedimentary rock" either.

We still did well, but of course we got beat by the team that wins state every year :(

lol I'm pretty sure detrial is just another name for clastic sedimentary rocks. Anyway, one that really tripped me up was stromatolites. Gotta work on those I guess.
azurite>malachite>chrysocolla
Come to Pangea today all around the globe. Our formal dinners are to die for! All dishes served on tectonic plates.
Don't be Angara that all the jokes are Gondwana.

detrital=detritus=on sea floor
And I'm really annoyed by stromatolites too! I still have no idea about the questions. All I know is that they're "blocks" of rocks.

Well I was able to find that they were made from algae from the field guide, but that was about it.

I can't find anything on "the source of all knowledge."

EDIT: Found this!

I put coquina for the detrital question, not that it matters much anymore since it's all over.
Stromatolites are "layers of bio-chemical structures formed by the trapping, binding, and cementation of sedimentary grains of microorganisms in shallow water." That's what I have in my binder, anyway - then again, for the 'other' section of the fossil list I pretty much just took off stuff from Wikipedia
