What were some of the concepts that you had to demonstrate?
It was just all of the regular state and regional concepts, plus remediation. It caught us off guard, so we just skipped it.

You had to present ALL of them? o_o

Edit:

Was the question worded like that on the test? Because it seems to imply that the state in question uses a single aquifer for all its groundwater needs.

Wait, is there some sort of master list that I've been missing? All of them... out of what? Sorry, I'm confused.

Yes, the event supervisor said it was made so you couldn't finish. I actually think there were a few (4 or 5) that were on the nats list, and this was a state competition!I think we got all of them but 8.

There is a master list for concepts at : http://www.groundwater.org/pe/docs_so/AABstudyguide.pdf.

Edit: Like I posted earlier, FueL, the question was something like "In which state are all aquifers polluted?" It did not mention if how many aquifers there were.

Ooh, that list. But the event writer can still take concepts that aren't on that list and put it on the event, right? Thanks

That sounds like a really crazy competition. (in other words, I would've loved to compete in it ;) )

@TYG: Yes, they can.

Haha.

Anyway, I didn't know that the event supervisors could make up their own concepts. Where did you find anything that says this?

Like what concepts? I suddenly feel very unprepared...

Bah. I thought I remembered seeing something that said the concepts weren't limited to things on the list, but I can't find it now. My mistake.

the thing is, the top is labelled "sample" so wouldn't that imply that there are other concepts?
