Sometime last season, I showed a photo of a cat with a shell edited onto its back while writing notes on Gastropods to my partner, and he said as a joke, "It'll give us good luck at the competition!" It then became a running joke within my team that it would take us to state. Flash forward to the start of the 2020 season, and now we have people "praying" to snail cat during practice. What a journey. Edit: Deleted some text
