Love so many events, but Anatomy and Physiology is my favorite.

DD because tests are easy

except nationals which literally had nothing to do with foodborne illnesses

FACTS!!!! There was not ONE foodborne illness question on the 2018 test :(

And potions and herp have to be my personal favs

Battery Buggy. It's just so fun.

Least favorite goes to rollercoasters.
Ok this is epic 8-)
Events 2018: Battery Buggy (3rd at Nats), Rollercoaster (18th at Nats), Ping Pong (1st at states)

Oh, come on guys!... XD.

In all honesty, though, there's just something that's so so so special about learning something like astronomy. I can't really describe it in words (and this has been causing me much anguish while trying to write college apps...), but there's this fascination, this wonder, this excitement to know to ask questions, to enrich yourself.
(There has to, otherwise, I wouldn't want to wake up an hour early each day and study astro lol)

I do agree that build events are ridiculously fun, even when they don't work. All in all, there's just something magical about basically any event that Science Olympiad has to offer.
