Earlier I went out Pokemoning with my mom and brother and we were doing Rayquaza raids. We did four and I caught every single one. After I got my fourth, my brother hands me his phone and tells me to catch it for him, but he had just thrown a ball before handing me it, so I just sat there watching and it went in. Then my mom hands me her phone. Got that one too.

TLDR: I'm kind of a big deal.

@alumni and other test writers, what do you use for formatting (e.g. Word, LaTeX, Google Docs) and how do you set it up?

I use word if I’m writing it myself and if I have a co-writer I start in google docs and then download as a word document to make final edits. Sometimes I use latex if math formulas are involved but I usually use screenshots in that case

I typically write the content in google docs and then copy and paste it to a LaTeX document to make it nice and pretty.

I always use Word. LaTeX if I'm working for NSO. Word's equation editor is legit compared to how it used to be. I find gdocs not to ever work really, especially with equations / figures. I also typically edit figures in ppt (yeah yeah, sue me). I find this gets the job done the easiest / least painful. I also find that my "template" in word isn't that hard to edit, so LaTeX really isn't worth it.

I don't write tests, but there are a couple add-ons to gdocs I like that add latex pictures. Figures/drawings/pictures are still annoying sometimes though :(

Idk sometimes if I’m feeling really ambitious I might design cover pages in Adobe InDesign/Illustrator if I really feel like it needs that, but most of the time (except for math equations) I prefer word over latex bc I know how to manipulate font/cover/etc design in word better than I do in latex [i.e. the MIT 2018 Forensics cover page]
