I don't know, I think I'm missing something. The worst I've seen was about 70-something volts...
What kind of resistor are you using?

Oh, sorry! That's the raw voltage before I calculated with the resistor.  But 70 volts? Really? That seems high

Um, I tried to calculate the voltage and got .2 volts. Clearly I've calculated wrong...

I put into the calculator: .35^2= .1225 x 5= .2

Yeah 70 volts sounds pretty high :o . Also if your raw voltage was 350 mV then with a 5 ohm resistor the power should be about .025 W although im not sure

Maybe it was 70mV. I'm not really sure...

Is this picture from the scores thread mV then?

I think those scores might be in millivolts  I hope no one is generating 400 VOLTS...

yes, raw score value are mV, but event supervisor didn't bother to convert to V when entering the value on the spread sheet. But that shouldn't matter , using the spreadsheet from SOINC website, calculation and output is consistent. It may not be valid, but it's consistent

Does the resistor alter the raw voltage output?

Having resistance will lower the power outcome but it wouldn't affect the voltage.
