hey guys, i'm new at herpetology. if you make your own guide, how big can it be? how big is the binder?? o.o

No binder is allowed this year. You can only 'edit' a published field guide.

yea but if you edit it right you can have the same amount of info as your binder

Unfortunately Robot, depending on who you are you can't get just as much information in. I know that I can't get as much information. All we can do is try to come as close as possible. That is because our binder contained a 300 page herpetology dictionary last year, there is no practical way to put that into a petersons or audubon. You could buy a bigger book that is useless except for holding notes, but that would be too difficult to navigate through.

plus i REALLY liked the format of my binder. It was much more user friendly than the published field guide and it let me find the info quickly.

pretty much everyone who made a binder faces that problem. Do you guys like peterson or audubon better?

i like them both but the audubon has more info it seems
