After you microwave the leaf, is it still necessary to iron it with wax paper?
ya i think it is, i think it helps preserve it better.
forestry is a good event, hmmm, though i am not excited about the ID.

ya, its just facts about trees like their economic benefits, habitat, physical features etc.
oh and ming, i have started ID. Its boring but I am doing it.

I don't know about 2004 rules but there is a copy of the 2005 rules on the wiki

Does each person get to bring a guide and notes, like Ornith this year? Also, do we need to delve into the microscopic and study all that stuff too?

Rules aren't out yet, but I'd say we probably will get the same resources as last year.

If you have a field guide, why would you need a 8.5 by 11 inch cheat sheet? Audubon has economical and random info about trees in it.
