Yeah, it has never taken me more than a few days, even without express. You should really call them, state isn't that far off.

Fossils test supervisor I'm not sure has read the rules since the first time he ran the event. We're not sure if he puts species not on the list for purpose of elimination, or because he truly doesn't understand. We were able to deduce most of them based on names, but if any of them were actually the real answers. . . :x
Is there a place to see the individual results? This was my freshman son's first HS regional and he took first in fossils at the CLC regional.

His partner was going to study with him at school, but they opted instead to come to our house because we have more fossils than the school has.

Yes, the scores are all online on Avogadro. I assume he's Varsity, so you can find the places AND raw scores here. A word of caution: Avogadro hasn't been showing results for a few weeks now, and I'm now sure why. So, for now, you won't find anything. The results packet is the best you can get for the time being.
Congrats on the first place, by the way.

Thank you and I'll pass on your congratulations to a more deserving person (I sure wasn't the one doing the work).

He thought that he'd be JV since his HS doesn't usually put freshmen on varsity, and then when he arrived he discovered that there were no JV fossils this year and he'd be competing on the varsity team. The school was fifth and is going to state and we're waiting to see if he will be included on the trip (he's been to two states in middle school and took fourth there in fossils last year). I am curious about how many other regional firsts Buffalo Grove took.

^^ Buffalo Grove (as I am on that team) from years past we have done very well there, although this year was kind of lax. I think his 1st was the only first we got but I know at least 2 2nds (1 was mine) and a plethora of lower medals. Honestly I'm suprised we made state ^.^

Edit: His medal was def a very important reason why we did make state and I'm glad for that. I think Schram would be insane NOT to have him go!

I do remember Buffalo Grove not doing so hot in the event I helped score...then again, I think you did rather poorly comparatively now that I think about it. Not sayin' what event that was, but  ...there's always room for improvement, you know what I mean?
But, yeah, if he got 1st, there's no way he ain't going to state.

Well comparatively didn't everyone do poorly to Stevenson? Granted we didn't do great, and we were down 4 key people for Schol bowl sectionals so we were not our best but poorly isn't what I'd call it we still did reasonably well. Haha well if you scored building events (not asking b/c I know you don't wish to say) a couple of those doing badly were my bad... Helicopter broke so I spent several hours fixing that (-ish) so mousetrap did bad b/c I didn't work on that.
-shrug- it happens. Our sci oly program is extremely lax so the fact we make state annually surprises me. And not all of us can get first like stevenson so I'm not too worried about it. I know for heli I can def beat that time so I'm pretty psyched for state!

Don't compare yourselves to Stevenson--it's not fair (I guess you guys didn't do poorly...). They're robots over 'ere, and I don't exaggerate.
That stinks. If you ask me...you've always got a better shot at SO than scholastic bowl at beating schools like Stevenson. I don't know why exactly that is, but I suppose they just gotta pick where their dedication lies. :? Unfortunately.
Let's just say that, when scoring (since I brought that up), I was in awe by what the Stevenson teams did. I can hate them all I want, but they're legit talented. And, yeah...GL with that helicopter business. I don't know much about that kind of stuff [there's no smiley with eyes spinning].
