So that would explain winneratlife's waiting, so that means that winneratlife is the assassinator, or has talked to the assassinator. My memory may be playing tricks on me, but I seem to remember that (s)he was on chat around that time. Maybe the assassinator is a chat regular?

Edit: The more I think about it, the more suspicious of me I become.

Edit2: Right before 52, winneratlife (who picked me) came onto chat to ask me about what I was going to do. That supports above theorey that the assassinator is a chat regular/mod. I say "/mod" because lately gh has taken an odd interest into the "AssAssTornado" games (as he puts it) which is odd because we all know how much he hates the games.

fmtiger hasn't been on chat enough to see gh's interest in them I think.

No, I mean for winneratlife to get on and talk to the assassinator. But I could be completely wrong, I was more of just thinking outloud.

Nice overthinking it guys but I'm going to have to resort to a back up plan my initial choice didn't work out (no it wasn't gh).... The person is just having too busy of a summer.... Hopefully it will be up by tomorrow... Or earlier I guess if my choice shows up...

Okay, because you all seem to be POed at me, I'm going to explain the situation.

1) This assassinator has not yet been chosen. One was chosen, but apparently bailed. So, fmtiger is in the process of selecting a new one.

2) I will send the password to fmtiger today, and have him pass it on to whoever he chooses, seeing as I will be going away soon, and would rather not shut down the games for a month.

It's all out of my hands now.

That's understandable. It happens. With the summer comes vacations, and it may be hard to choose an assassinator that won't be away for a week or two somewhere down the road.

If you mean my location, yes, it was modeled off of your previous signature. I liked the sound of it.
Maybe the previous sassy should choose officers for the next game in the official PM. That way we could just stop wasting our lives and not blame ourselves if we don't get in. Just a thought.

No, that wouldn't work. I think the way we have it now is one of the best possible options. Part of the fun is seeing the game up with four replies and racing to be the last officer... not that it's ever gotten that far with me.

Why not? If the next assassin chose, that would be bad, because he could choose newbies and poor officers. But the previous one could give the guy a run for his money, with good officers like you, robo, fmtiger, and numerous others. (I hope I would be considered a good officer).
I admit it wouldn't be accepted quickly, but at least the heart stopping anticipation could end. I think all of us could accept this, given some time.
On my game, I went away for thirty seconds and saw every officer slot taken. That should show us how competitive it's getting, and maybe that it needs to change.

That would ruin all the fun. Plus, new people would have an extremely low chance of becoming an officer. And you can't always tell who will want to play from one game to the next.
