Intimidating? In his tie-dyed lab coat?

Maybe it's just because he was also our State supervisor, so we'd seen him before (plus he's kind of friends with our coach, so our coach told us what to expect from him), but he didn't seem very intimidating to us.

his countdown timer on his laptop was also quite intimidating :)

The timer actually made it less intimidating for me, because you knew exactly how much time you had, it couldn't sneak up on you... and I think he was saying those things so people wouldn't worry if they didn't finish (although it actually wasn't that long or that difficult, especially compared to the States test).

who did you guys lose to in your state test?
the other NY nats team?
man, our alabama state test was nothing compared to this one :lol:

we got about 97% of it done, but we were guessing left and right at the end

I'm not sure... of my two chem events that I got 2nd in, Eagle Hill beat us in one and RCS (Ravena Coemans-Selkirk MS, they hosted the B Div NY Invitational earlier this year) beat us in the other. I don't remember which was which, though.
