What counts as national tournament size? Juniata isn't all that large (nor is UW-Stout for that matter, at least in terms of building space), but they supported everyone just fine.

I'm not sure this is true about Juniata, exactly. From what I've heard, there were definite overcrowding concerns. The gym couldn't fit all the teams, so they had to hold awards outdoors, which took a turn for the worse since it was raining. Also, there's a definite accessibility issue, as the roads leading into campus were definitely not designed for the sort of traffic associated with a national tournament, especially nowadays. There's a reason that PA hasn't hosted nationals since then; they'd need to find a larger venue.

I actually emailed them yesterday... I'll be in 11th grade in 2021

Huh, that's disappointing; Mizzou was a beautiful campus. That's a horrible drive to the new site from Saint Louis County...

Huh, that's disappointing; Mizzou was a beautiful campus. That's a horrible drive to the new site from Saint Louis County...

It still is a beautiful campus! Our state moved to Westminster College not UMKC. UMKC is the only other college in Missouri that has the size (Westminster is tiny, at state there aren't enough homerooms for teams so some have to camp outside) and experience (I believe they host one of the regions) to host nationals, but they declined or something.
