I get how the name "Third Down" refers to how we only have one chance bla bla bla, but what if it refers to the sassy's third time as assasinator?
(just a thought, maybe the "third down could refer to something else too)

Er, unfortunately, since the signature has disappeared, this clue is a little imposs-*cough*difficult to solve. I will have a new one up shortly...

...It read:

Two vast, empty spaces, nothing inside but a slight glint of light. Outside, an infinite white area, rounded and soft, yet filled with points. Its name is terrifying, although some would argue that it's a misnomer- nothing like what it sounds. It's up to you to figure out the danger and protect the correct target...

By the way, I'll re-post the ID clue since no one seems to be working on it. If you show ANY progress, perhaps I'll be nice enough to give you another.

XII/II

The play clock has been reset to 72 hours.

XII/II might be 7/2 but that seems too easy. Maybe it's like making letters. Backwards it is II\IIX which makes letters like INIX (I I\I I X) or INDC
(oh... 12/2 hehe)

Is the clue referencing a dragon fruit?
Dragon in dragonfruit is a misnomer
The inside of a dragon fruit is white with black seeds (points)...

I protect dragon_fruit35 for the above reason.

Someone should also protect ThePrudentGuava

At this point, I think it's a good idea to start making a list of suspected sassies, and really get to work on the ID clues while we still have time.
Nice job p2p!

Um, XII/II isn't 7/2, it's 12/2, which is 6...

It's a shame this died. I read through the whole thing and was really entertained.

Here's my interpretation of the clue: "white area, rounded and soft" could be snow? "Filled with points" = mountains? "Name is terrifying, although that's a misnomer" = iceland (because it's actually quite green, rather than icy). "Two vast empty spaces" = greenland and iceland?

I'm afraid I don't know where to go from there.

Neither the Assassinator account nor the account used by the person controlling the Assassinator account have posted in this thread for quite some time now. There's an ID clue for you lot I suppose.
