Assassinator wrote:Man, yall are so far off track that I could swear you got salmon in your nose. The clue seemed a minnow to vague, so I toss'd a hand grenade in the water to clear it up a bit. Also, get the water out o' your ears. Ben Franklin once said "Nothing is certain except fish (should be death) and taxes", but he's dead wrong on both counts. This clue ain't the slightest bit fishy.
Sounds like littleboy to me. Grenade, continuous use of adjectives that mean small...

Geez, you people must literally have a fish for brains. That post was telling you that the clue has literally nothing to do with fish or taxes. I mean, I'll admit that this clue is rather vague. But when you take the hint and then do the exact opposite, people start to wonder. Hopefully your fish-brains can find the food I left for them.

Hey, we just misinterpreted it. Relax.
Guess it must have something to do with the net weight.

Something about an easy number to come by, and the station (maybe from the previous clue) come to mind.

Right, but 'station' otherwise isn't a terribly useful keyword on this site when its history is full of posts about events ran as
stations.

He said he'll kill the disgusting thing... maybe this has a connection to the total (or gross) weight.

Seeing the clue, fozendog immediately jumps to the important things. Taking his Accusation Orange, he follows instructions to the letter, making himself look like a complete fool when Littleboy denies his claims. Littleboy, not realizing he doesn't have the prestige that comes with something like an Accusation Orange, stands on top of a police cruiser to accuse everyone. However, the only prestige he got was in the form of rotten tomatoes. As everyone discusses the clue, fozendog becomes paranoid and afraid for his llife. He sneaks into the police office evidence room and steals some less than legal items, and dumps them into the fastest car he can see. He then impounds the vehicle as evidence and flys down the highway with it 40 mph above the speed limit. mrburrito, also afraid for his life, goes to the local amusement park and locks himself in the House of Mirrors. The rest of the townspeople fumble around with fish and tax forms for a while, and begin to think of other ideas after several enraged phone calls are taken. At last, Cedavis6 says "Gross?" and 144 bowling balls suddenly fall from the sky upon TwelveSquared.

I think the commitment in this game just died.
