Was anyone else disappointed about last years national test? Especially the fact that they didn't have the measuring a hair width with a laser like the event description had said... I was looking forward to doing that the whole day...

That was just a suggestion about what they could do.

It was a suggestion that would have made the test awesome!... Instead we got stuck with a pretty poorly written test... sigh... the test made me sad

Back to the topic of enormous binders, the one made last year was huge. As me and my partner were looking through it, we were amazed. I'm not actually sure how it worked out for them last year, but me and my partner took it, summed it up, added a few new things, and viola, we got 2nd.

lol, that binder has been passed down through generations. When i got that binder a few years ago, most of that stuff was there too. And if you think the size itself was big, you should have seen it before the 3" restriction was used last year.

Personally, I think big binders are such a waste of paper and money... i mean half the stuff u already know by heart (like wats a crest and trough...) me and my partners binder is not that huge and it works fairly well

Yeah, I'd tend to agree with genius3point14159.... We use our binder as a type of saftey net; we know everything there. It's just there in case we forget.

the binder that me and shad are talking about serves a study binder, and as the binder used for competition. the most usefull information needed to take the test would be in the outlines in the first few pages. The rest is mostly things to study and memorize.
