What do you think a 35 will give me for Michigan States in div B?

Just back from States and the team did well, Gold in Div. B, with a score of 40.69. Tower weighed 5.53g and held 15kg. Team did not make Nationals so all we have left is the Tower Burning party with all of our test towers.

How do you think an efficiency of 15-20 compares for PA states?

I'd say that (efficiency of 15-20) would probably score in the 20's, maybe the upper teens if you're lucky. I expect B and C winning scores to be in the upper 30s, with a possibility of low 40s.

I'm sorry, but I find this very hard to believe. I don't know what efficiencies you are getting, but at our regionals we got 4th in that event with a terrible tower (efficiency of 7.5 ). We have improved our best tower design to about 16, and are hoping to improve it another 1-4 points.

I don't know about PA but what alphatauri said is pretty much true for Michigan and everywhere else I've heard of.

I haven't been to a states competition where towers is an event yet, but I find it hard to believe that more than 20 teams will get an efficiency higher than 20. Maybe this is just because of our 4th place with a low efficiency at regionals, but I feel like an efficiency of 15-20 would get a PA team at least top 15.
