Basically, me and my partner literally practiced all year, and I found his wording (he's the writer) super confusing. So basically, the night before, I IM him and basically tell him how I want things worded, and we ended up medaling at states. So the most important part I think is to have the writer know how to word things to the understanding of the doer. The writer can easily rephrase things, but the doer can't do much if he doesn't understand the directions.

I think that we are all basically restating the same very true thing, and can probably move on.

You really love stopping other people's conversations don't you? Just to return briefly to the wording discussion, my partner and I had completely different interpretations of what a certain phase or keyword meant. I remember one of our practice sessions... the end result looked nothing like the original. 
Anyway, what do you think would be some commonly misinterpreted phrases that a builder could confuse from the writer's instructions? I'm going to make a list so that we can be prepared for next year and I was just looking for suggestions from people who have more experience in this event than I do.
