Will Ornithology be a binder event?
In the previous rules competitors seem to have been allowed a published field guide. However, given the other events in the rotation and how it's switching in for Herp, can it be safely assumed that it will be a binder event?

I'm not an official source, but odds are it'll be a binder event.

Ornithology this year as a trial event was a binder event.

Great, thanks for the link to the list! Thinking of starting over the summer...hopefully it doesn't conflict with my other events or I'll have worked over summer for nothing haha

It'll change, similar to Herp, but it won't change significantly. I suggest working on getting a solid background of the information, but obviously don't make your whole binder just yet.
